You will feel our pain. Trying to return home to BP headquarters in the UK, the oil spill slips into the Loop Current and the Gulf Stream, perhaps with a detour to stop along the private beaches of East Hampton and Greenwich.

I’ve been saying this for a while now. 

Just wait until oil starts washing ashore in Ireland, Iceland, Britain, and the Continent.  There probably won’t be much on shore, honestly. But there will be plenty of emulsified oil, along with zones of depleted oxygen, and there are lots of sensitive areas in between the gulf and the UK, and a great many of them are likely going to get impacted.
